Some posts ago I talked about a crown made up of many pine cones linked.
Doing so is very simple, you will still find some pictures that explain the most critical stages.
Of course you have already set up your Christmas decorations and thought the decor of the table ... who knows, maybe it's an 'idea you might like to return and still useful for next Christmas.
material that you will need:
It 's a kind of cone that lends itself well to any job, to make this crown is perfect.
The quantity and size of the cones depend on the size of the crown that you want to achieve.
If you happen to stroll through the woods to do some not miss the chance to pick them up because a small light can always be useful J
galvanized iron wire measurement 0.90
Red Tape Hot glue
Vinavil
salt
red candles
Cut a piece of wire Iron: I advise you to keep you on a generous length rather than decide to save money and then end up with a mini crown.
Fold the wire in half and, at the point of the fold, make a loop. This wire, although a certain thickness is soft and works easily.
Place the cone between the two wires and, fitting well the wires on the "petals" of the lower cone (so as to hide them), take one from the other side: you all know how do braids? Well! the process is the same except that, instead of having 3 wires, you have only two and, instead of the third central wire, you have the pine cone. Anyway here's the photo
Go forward until you decide that the crown is just the measure you wanted.
To close the crown used only one of the wires and wrap at least twice, around the last cone. With wire cutters, cut the excess wire.
And the hardest part is done! Now you can go to the finish ...
Corona Welcome!
with a piece of red tape take a deep bow, cut a patch, the length you want, both the crown and fixed using hot glue.
For small wreaths I propose two alternatives:
Chaplet candle
a simple red bow, attached with hot glue and a candle
Chaplet frosted candle
first to fix the small bow, pine cones with a little brush 'of PVA glue, drop a shower of salt and finally turn it over to remove the excess brine.
These two crowns, despite their simplicity, I also set up perfect for a Christmas table, however, chic, country chic indeed!
Good luck and see you soon
